Adv. Pines is a senior partner at Hamburger Evron & Co., member of the executive board of the firm, and the firm's interns committee.

 

Shai is the head of the firm's corporate and international transactions departments. His legal expertise consists of several legal practices, including- local and international business entrepreneurship, M&A, corporate law, financial legal advice, real estate and land taxation and international trade.

 

Since the beginning of the 90's, Shai provides consultation to some of the major real estate development companies in Central and Eastern European countries (CEE). Shai advised on matters related to corporate law, international financing and taxation, and handled purchasing agreements, financing and credit agreements, contract work agreements, shareholder agreements and more.

 

Inter alia, Shai provided legal consultation to a foreign electronics conglomerate which acted as a subcontractor in one of the biggest infrastructure projects in Israel history (Highway 6, the first Israeli toll road crossing the country north to south).

 

Since 2008, Shai has been serving as a director in Pluristem Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: PSTI), a public company dealing with medicine development, and traded both in the New York's NASDAQ and in the Israeli stock exchange in Tel Aviv.

 

In addition, Shai has been counseling for GTC corporation- the biggest foreign real estate entrepreneur in Eastern Europe, since its establishment. GTC is a public company traded in the polish stock exchange and also in the WIG20. For over 10 years, Shai was a member of the company's supervisory board.

 

Shai is certified in business administration (MBA), as part of the Kellogg business school (North Western University) executives program, in cooperation with the Recanati school of Business Administration (Tel Aviv University). Shai is also a graduate of the Tel Aviv University Faculty of Law (L.L.B with honors).

 

Shai holds a military rank of lieutenant colonel (res.) in the Israeli defense force. He is a member of Tel Aviv University's friends association, and as pro-bono activity, he is member of the audit committee of MIHA Tel Aviv - the Multidisciplinary Center for Children Hearing Disability.
