The service provided by the Department’s team includes comprehensive advice on project financing, from examination of the project financials and preparation of opinions for banks in connection with the rights in the land and the collateral required for the provision of the financing, to the actual drafting of all loan and collateral documents.
The Banking Department provides comprehensive legal representation in the field of banking litigation, acting on diverse matters that include representing banks in large and complex financial claims, precedent-setting lawsuits in relation to the scope of bank liability, guarantees law, bank setoff law, representing banks in malpractice suits, class actions, and on questions of the scope of applicability and legal effect of bank guarantees issued under the Sale Law (Apartments). The team also represents banks and receivers in lawsuits concerning the responsibility of officials appointed by the court, acting for banks in proceedings to enforce Israeli judgments abroad, and representing banks in petitions to the High Court of Justice, Commissions of Inquiry, and more.
